The app: audio stays on your device

During a listening session, the app processes microphone audio in memory to estimate speech-like activity, sudden changes, and approximate sound level. It does not record audio to disk, upload it, transcribe conversations, or identify speakers. Audio is discarded after analysis. Microphone access is optional; declining it disables room grading but leaves focus timers and other available features usable.

Local history and preferences

Room names, readings, session history, daily goals, streaks, calibration and preferences are saved in local app storage. We do not receive that history. The app includes no advertising, analytics or third-party crash-reporting SDK. Device backups and restoration follow your Apple/device settings; we do not operate a cloud-sync service. Session history is limited to the most recent 2,000 entries.

Settings → Erase all data clears rooms, readings, sessions and streak history. It preserves preferences and onboarding, subscription status, and records already saved to Apple Health. Delete Health records using the Health app. Removing the app removes its local storage, but any existing device backups are controlled separately through your Apple settings.

Optional Apple Health

Health saving is off by default. If enabled, the app asks only for permission to write completed sessions as mindful minutes. It does not request read access to your Health data. You can disable saving in the app and revoke permission or delete saved records in Apple Health. Apple's settings govern Health storage and syncing.

Purchases and Apple diagnostics

Apple processes subscriptions and payments through StoreKit. We do not receive your payment details or Apple Account credentials. Apple's systems provide subscription entitlements to the app and sales/reporting information to us. Apple may make app diagnostics and usage reports available under your Apple sharing preferences. These Apple services are governed by Apple's privacy policies and your settings.

This website and email

This website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics for aggregate website traffic measurement. It is separate from the app and does not receive microphone audio, room names or app history. Hosting providers process requests needed to deliver the website. We do not use advertising pixels or cross-site behavioral tracking.

Requesting beta access opens an email draft. Nothing is submitted until you send it through your email provider. If you contact us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send, and use it to answer your request or arrange beta access. There is no automatic waitlist enrollment or guaranteed invitation. Please do not include sensitive information. Contact us to withdraw a beta request or request deletion of correspondence, subject to any retention obligations.
